Please read and comment - we need your feedback ASAP

The forum seems very slow for us here in Bedfordshire, this could be a UK issue, or a Bedfordshire issue or a forum host issue. The hosting company tells me it is fine at their end and must be our problem. I am not convinced so I need your comments on this, please.

Are you having problems accessing the forum or is everything OK for you, please post in here and let me know either way.

I ask as if this is a membership wide issue I will move the forum to a new host (UK based would be best) The plan being backup everything and then move it to a new location and hopefully the forum looks exactly as it does today with sections, members, posts and images intact.

Feedback please ladies and gentlemen!

Very slow about 10 this morning, so much so the connection timed out. Checked the "downforeveryone" site and it said the site was down even though it did eventually get as far as the front page. Gave up after that. Seems OK this afternoon though.

All fine here ...

There are a multitude of reasons why it is slow for some. Specific routes, specific switches, peering points, overloaded ISPs &c &c &c.

I have seen far worse with a forum I use that is actually hosted within Telehouse in London and that is one of the major peering hubs in the UK. Moving provider may not improve the occasional problem.
