Hi all - I am looking to sell my Nepalese cache MkII and was wondering what the going rate for them is at the moment? It is in the usual, good, cleaned condition (very good bore, no cracks in the wrist, metal clean with signs of cleaned pitting along woodline). It has a repro sling and an original socket bayonet with repro scabbard.
I cannot find any recent references to sale prices but have stumbled across numerous Nepalese and non-Nepalese MkIVs being sold for anywhere between £900 and £2,000! There appears to be several sites selling MkIVs at around £1,600 in varying condition but last I checked, a Nepalese cache MkIV 'reasonable' price was more like £850 - £900. One site has a MkIV with sling and bayonet for over £2k... I know MkIIs normally sell for more by a few hundred but I simply cannot find any.
If anyone has any ideas or indication on what would be a reasonable asking price, I would be most grateful.

Re: Martini-Henry MkII Value
Thank you very much! I just took a look through and most of theirs are up for around that price. I did find another site selling a Nepalese cache MkII for £1,300. I will work out a price with bayonet and sling and pop it up on one of the selling sites.

Re: Martini-Henry MkII Value
£1200 is average for a ex Nepalese Mark II at the moment, nicer ones with accessories go for more. The era of piles £600 rifles imported from America at arms fairs is well and truly over.
