Removing a Winchester trapper 94AE front sight.

Does it matter from which side of the barrel you drift the front sight on a Winchester Trapper 94 AE out to replace it.

Yes: Front sights are usually driven in from right to left.

easy way to remember is, that guns are like cars... you get in and out from the drivers side (normal right hand drive of course)

Someone always come along to confuse the guy seeking help. Winchesters are just like all the others---fitted from the RHS.
