On a serious note - a respectable member of society with no hint of criminality is now a 'firearm offender' for something 100% legal in England or Wales. I'm sure the smackheads who shoot babies with airguns will be shaking in their boots at this.
Wee Jimmie should be ashamed at herself, but she wouldn't know how.

as are the respectable member of society that may have a pistol that was failed to be handed in 25 years ago, something that is 100% legal in some parts of the UK.
The law is the law however unjust or bonkers we think it is, break it and see where that gets you.

This is exactly why the same “air weapon certificate” has never been brought into England and Wales. Almost over night, hundreds of thousands of people potentially, would be criminalised overnight.
Northern Ireland is a different set of circumstances, but Scotland’s airgun laws were all about flexing her muscles and claiming she was doing right by public safety.
It’s amazing how a nation can be hoodwinked. And when called out for policy or legislation, the rallying cry “It’s all those Tories in Westminster and other FEBs that keep us down!” Covers a multitude of sin.

I do hope he doesn't have hard feelings for his meddlesome neighbours now that he's artificially been made a criminal.
If it were me I'd become the neighbour from hell.

Shooting inside his house/loft - it must have been loud for a neighbour to hear!
He should invest in a decent hi-fi with accentuated bass!
