Range time in Romania

Recently got back from a trip to Romania with my partner and whilst we were there I managed to get some range time in at a very nice range called Poligon Fan Arm Reghin, located near Orsova Padure in beautiful Transylvania.
The range is very well set out with targets from 15m for handguns out to 100m for rifles as well as clay layouts etc.The owner, Stefan, speaks English and is very enthusiastic and was very interested to hear about shooting in the UK.
I shot a 9mm AK pistol, a 9mm AK carbine and a 7.62x39 AK which were all semi auto and I also shot a 9mm Beretta PX4 Storm as used by the Romanian Police Force but I have to admit that my pistol shooting left a little to be desired as it was the first time I had used a proper handgun.
The range has a well stocked shop and there is a restaurant on site with many hunting trophies on the walls, whilst there I sampled local venison, wild boar and brown bear salami which actually tasted really good!.
If anyone finds themselves in this part of Romania I can definitely recommend a visit to this range and the scenery in the area is amazing as it is located in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains and is home to brown bear, wolf, lynx and golden jackals.I didn't see any bear but did see a wolf .
