Commonwealth games.

It looks like shooting is not on the menu for the next commonwealth games. **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** ****

I was extremely annoyed that it was dropped from the Birmingham games especially as the city has a long association with shooting sports and firearms manufacture. However it looks like the commonwealth games may have taken a decision to permanently delete shooting sports from the games.

The Brits did very well in the International Precision Rifle Federation World Championships this week.

And it's for this very reason I have refused to watch it.
The stupid labour run council in Brum actually tried to change the name of the old "Gun Quarter" to "St George and St Chad" after the nearby church and Roman Catholic Cathedral, because they said it sounded bad due to all the gun crime in Birmingham. Fortunately there was such a backlash they dropped the idea.
