Happy birthday

Thank you guys and girls. At 81 I am coming to terms with some of the problems of aging. My right eye now suffers from acute lack of accommodation, meaning that with the aid of various pairs of glasses i can either see the sights or the target, but not both. Over the last few months i have learned to shoot rifle left handed using my left eye which still has excellent focus. I have always been able to shoot pistol left handed, but am also now experimenting with right hand / left eye since i am better at controlling a set trigger right handed.
My Buechel Meister schuetzen rifle has a very right handed orthopaedic stock, so using it with iron sights has come to an end; however, i have the only German scope sight made for the rib on a schuetzen rifle that I have ever seen, so i will be trying it out, right hand / right eye at 100 yds on Sunday and hope that the scope compensates for the failing eye.
Thanks again,
Fred
