Wow. Makes the actual S&B scopes I sold with their boxes an absolute bargain!

Empty boxes have value. Especially to coleectors.
I sold a Webley Mk.IV box to an American last year for a tidy penny.
They're of value for people that want to give a decent present of a second hand item in original boxes too.
And, of course, to dealers.

I would not pay that kind of money for dies, though - because I buy Lee.

He is a trader , the Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 require traders to dispay their identity and geographical address .

In the past a lot of his listings have had the same background as another well known Cornish RFD has on his website .

His listing is as a private seller. As far as I'm aware, being a trader doesn't preclude selling as a private individual as well. That is, providing one keeps the two relationships separate.

Didn't want to cause any arguments. Was just thinking that £20 for a cardboard box was stupid. And was also pointing out that someone is selling dies on ebay and people on here have been saying that their attempts to sell dies have been taken off by ebay.

Can't find the second link????

Someone may think it is a bargain. Many years ago I saw an empty cardboard box for a Colt 1911 pistol for sale on ebay. It was in great condition with original label giving full details of the pistol including serial number. It likely sold to the owner of the pistol as it went for $745.00.

I sold a box for a Colt SAA revolver to a buyer in the States for $145.00 around the same time.

One man's junk..................

Anyone want to buy an empty "Nobel Glasgow Shotgun Powder" (NPSP) tin, in very good condition. £20
Got a couple of full unopened "NGSP number 80" tins still with the metal stopper in place as well for £50 each..... wonder if I could sell those as well. ;)
