I use those and they are not corrosive. At least, I treat as non corrosive primers and have had no issues.

Peter.

Hi Peter,
Thank you for the reply.
I don't suppose you know if these would be suitable for .303 as well as 7.62x51?

All help appreciated.

I use these primers for 7.62x51, .303, 7.5x55 Swiss, 7.92x57, .30-06 and 8x56R. They should be OK for any Berdan primed case that takes that size of primer.
Regards
Peter.

There were two sealed tins of 5000 number 81 primers in the Holts sealed bid auction that has now ended. I registered to bid on them but thought do I really need another 10,000 primers as I already have 4000 odd Berdan primers. I thought I would leave a low bid so I would get them cheap if no-one else had bid. However, it seems you can't bid lower than the low estimate. I didn't want to spend over £130 on them but tried leaving a minimum bid as a practice bid hoping that someone had bid before me. However, I kept getting an error message of some sort so never got a bid placed. It will be interesting to see what they went for.
Regards
Peter.
