I'm taking some colleagues for their first Clay pigeon shooting experience on Saturday, and then I am RCO'ing a probationer training session at one of my Rifle clubs on Sunday. Basically my weekend is spent introducing new people to shooting while doing little to no shooting myself! lol

No trigger time planned this weekend sadly, but last weekend was my clubs monthly PSG shoot. 8 stages and a drill/practice area, 6hrs of up to your knees fun in the north-east mud :p

1st shoot of the year for me this weekend. off to Northcotes Butts. getting my leather out and appropriate hat as it's cowboy time!

was hoping to squeeze in some 7.3 activity tomorrow but I've been ill this week, and being in a small room blatting away with 9mm isn't the greatest life choice atm.

Also on Saturday, the monthly club multi gun shoot. Usually about 10 shooters, sometimes a few more. It's not too serious. The main thing is everyone enjoys themselves.

Last week I had 2 hours on short siberia at 100yds. (its not actually 100yds more like 112!)
Zeroed and zero stopped new scope on my 260 Tikka t3. Zeroed my Uberti 45/70 highwall carbine with blackpowder/lyman postell bullet loads.
Played with the ruger 1022 with a couple of different cartridges. The SK semi auto worked well.
Tried some MP moulds 180gn gaschecked RNFP out of my Ruger 77/357.
And finished with some Lee 210gn rnfp out of my Uberti 1873 44/40. Must try some black in this next time.
Making rounds up for my AI 260rem for a day on Chobham ridge next week.

mag41uk - I shoot an 260AI - what powder are you using? I'm on Hodgdon 4350 (with a 140gn Berger) but now banned by REACH regs so looking for a Vhitavuori alternative.

This coming weekend is the first round of the NRA Mini Rifle League at Frome, so that'll be this weekends ballistic therapy :)

I am using N555 with 136 scenars but was using N160 and even N165 (no listed data for N165 other than a 155gn).
TBH it seems to shoot well with anything. I plan on doing more shooting at 1100 and 1200 this year.
BTW thats an Accuracy International in 260 rem.

Was hoping to shoot some heritage pistol at Bisley this weekend but as usual it's fully booked, no spaces. Could really do with more 7.3 Heritage sites as the demand is high.

I will be at my regular Thursday 50 yard range tomorrow, giving my Midland Gun Co. Martini .22 conversion and 45 Colt Rossi Mod '92 an airing.
