Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

Gun Dealers sharp practise on orders

#1 Post by Mauserbill »

Hello
Wanted four 500g tubs of rifle powder and found that a well known supplier in the North west was offering a sale discount on my required powder, oh goody I thought will stock up on that while I can, so started an on line order and was just about to complete and I thought of the old adage Caveat Emptor so I phoned them to ascertain stock levels, after some evasive answers it transpired that they did not hold stock and would have to order it, After having taken my payment of course.
DID NOT PLACE AN ORDER !

if it's a price you want to pay, and will get it, what is the issue?

dealers are probably finding it hard enough atm, why expect them to use money they may not have to sit as stock?
When guns are outlawed, only Outlaws will have guns

Well, it wouldn't hurt to state that it was on backorder BEFORE punters press the "Go" button......would it?
