I'm one of the frequent readers but less frequent poster. Like others have said I'd rather it not disappear.

It would be a shame to see it go. I have logged on during my lunch break at work for a while now. It used to be busy, but in the last 6 - 12 months the active posts mainly comprise for sale posts. Probably a sign of shooting in general, people giving up, and selling up. Costs have not helped. Ammo prices and reloading prices have all gone up, making what to many is a past time more expensive, and with the cost of living you have to cut your cloth accordingly. Ammo availability and firearm availability is also a challenge with long delays between deliveries. Hopefully it is just a blip, but only time will tell.

Well, we need around the £500 mark to pay for hosting and the SSL cert, it is missing right now, hence the security alert when logging on to the site.

That money will also cover the domain fee.

I host some other small sites on servers I have (although I am not a web host), I may be able to help if you can send me some details.
Thank you.
This forum is huge though, which is part of the problem when it comes to hosting.
1.03 GiB to be precise.

Donation sent - it would be a real shame to see this forum fall by the wayside.

Hopefully enough people will donate to keep it going. It's up to all of us to ensure this happens.
