.223 for F Class
I know that there have been some articles in Target Shooter; can anyone tell me which issues please?
Re: .223 for F Class
Gun Pimp will know. He is busy shooting in the Europeans at the moment. :flag5:
Re: .223 for F Class
Laurie Holland is also the man to speak to for first hand information as he is shooting .223 to great effect in the F/TR class. He is a member on the forum (Laurie) so can be PM'd. I have a feeling both Vince and Laurie will be at the finals this weekend.

Hi Watcher
My Grandson [17] has bee shooting .233 rem. with great effect. The rifle is a SGC Speedmaster, With a 1-8 Krieger barrel and a Arnold Jewell trigger. At our Summer meeting he came top with. 50.9 at 400yds. 50.7 at 500yds. and 48.6 at 600 yds. the ammo are R/Loads in 77gr SMK with CCI BR primers and Lapua match cases. 24.1 N140. He has also shot it out to 900/1000yds this summer getting 72.4 at 900 and 67.5 at 1000yds. It does struggle at 1000 because he has to aim off due to his 8.5 x 20x 40 Leupold scope runs out of Elevation by a small margin. All the load development has been plagerised from Lauri during the last editions of Target Sport before morphing thankfully into the electronic version online. So the GUNPIMP will certainly have all the answers. P.S he uses 80gr Berger VLD molyed bullets for 900/1000 ydsmy grandson that is.
Best of luck with the 223 its amazing how good and accurate the little bullet is. Regards Telshe49
