I remember years ago guys at my club when shooting the 1500 with an underlever rifle used solid foam pipe insulation taped onto a belt and poked the rounds into the foam .

I use a 2" velcro belt/duty belt type of thing,for the ammo i got a .410 shotgun belt with elasticated loops and cable tied the two together with a little foam insulation between them so it's easier to access the ammo around my belly.

UKMCPRO sell velcro belts and they are under a fiver I think.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!
