dromia, a very interesting piece though unfortunately no matter how much they tighten the firearms laws anywhere there will always be those that want them tightened even further until no one but the criminals have them.

All they have to do is look at the anti gun States over here to see that. Places like Kalifornia, Chicago Il, Washington DC, that's just three but all of those three have the highest gun crime in the Union.

The States that are not anti gun and allow it's citizens to defend themselves from scumbags have the lowest burglary, rape, mugging and armed robbery rates, hell even the FBI and the State Police Forces in America agree with that.

The anti gun folks both over there and over here just don't get it, taking away the firearms from the law abiding won't make armed crime go away, it increases it. I'm not advocating the rules we have here should apply over there, in fact a fair few folks there have stated they are happy with the way it is but the blinkered few just can't or don't want to see it.

Anti gun is not about controlling GUNS, it is about control. These people impose thweir insecurity and fears over those who have a mind of their own. Their frear of guns is irrational and if all guns did disappear they would then look for something else.

I will not question their stupidity not to be armed if they let me choose TO be armed - or not!

Anti's do NOT value their own life so it goes without saying that YOUR life is of no value to them whatsoever, no matter what platitudes they spout
