I only ticked the ones I'd like to actually do, but that doesn't mean I don't support people who want to shoot other disciplines, but as this isn't a referendum on firearms legislation, I didn't think that mattered.

For example, I couldn't be doing with anything involving running about. I remember my Dad saying "trust you to find a sport you do lying down" lol

I also didn't tick ones where I'd certainly like to have a go, but which at the moment I have no interest in doing as a regular thing (but who knows if I'd get bug bitten if I did have a go at target shotgun, or muzzle loaders).

Not politically correct I suppose but falling politician springs to mind!
Sorry, I'll go to my room now and think on my sin!

I want to shoot stuff that explodes on impact - I was in Cabellas on Sunday and intrigued by all the targets available that do just that.
I want to shoot things that break - clays, bottles, toys. And full size manikins that 'bleed' red liquid.
And things that splatter. Bottles filled with water / ketchup.

You know, all the things that everyone looks down their noses at. Anything that falls under the umbrella of fun rather than plodding, regulated, stuffy, traditional target shooting.

Disappointingly (and, TBH, surprisingly) shooting at an aerosol paint can is not something the slo mo guys have ever done.

  1. OK - I saw the thumbnail had an axe, so didn't watch it. My bad.
  2. If Jackson Pollock had done that, that piece of hardboard would be worth about $100M
  3. The neighbours must love them. "How am I ever going to sell this place?" "We've taken up a collection and here's $50K for you to drop the price and be gone".
