Practical Rifle is the main discipline for me. Hope to get into some kind of shotgun practical/target shooting too.

Having lived in America for several years in the late seventies, I used to peruse the Dixie Gunworks catalogue and lust after one of their full scale Civil War Cannon. I think that I would have had trouble with the neighbours! I have a recent Dixie Gunworks catalogue which makes interesting reading. In the poll I am not sure where clay pigeon shooting comes in, so I'll state my interest here, along with TR, MR, and stalking. I am about to shoot the English VIII Meeting at the w/e and have been plaing with Sierra 220 Match Kings.

What is "Tactical rifle"?
Wait, so I can own a .55 calibre Boys anti-tank rifle, but not a .22 pistol?

What practical rifle should really be tongueout

Here are selection of events. Most are run over a period of days and usually entail quite a bit of physical effort and sometimes teamwork. They are pretty much all held in the US or Southern / Eastern Europe.
