BSA MkII Scope rail

#1 Post by Dave 101 »

Today I managed to get to the range , due to the bad weather in the last 2/3 weeks its been shooting starvation . But it did give me a chance to fit the Brownells scope rail which was kindly sent to me by Martini shooter , Thanks Tony it worked a dream .

Fitted to my MkII light weight .

Tried it with the Simmons scope on 24x .

Still rather chilly on the range but I ran some different ammo through it in 5 shot groups , the first column down was a fouling group as I didnt clean between ammo .

The first two is RWS Geco which has been batch weighed then Eley Team , Eley HP Sub sonic and RWS Target .
The cheapest [Geco ] seems as good as anything , so I shall stick with it and get some practice in for a competition next month .

Dave I found the Geco can be a bit dirty, but if you can live with that the price is right.
