Your wish list - bullets & brass

JDR imports reloading goods to order and has a special interest in historical carbines and all forms of S1 pistols and revolvers.

We also supply everything to do with wet tumbling, with machines ranging from the Rebel 17 to the large, industrial-sized CRC units.

Thank you, devil_bri and saddler. Have noted those along with all the others.

Another thing I would be interested to find out is, what makes of components do you like, or what makes might you buy if only it were better priced?

Righto. Someone else just today mentioned 308s.

What kind of quantity do you generally like to get?

Well I am a Lapua fan for Brass and bullets (Scenar) If you ever came across Lapua .308 170 Lockbase I would be interested in a box or two to take me through the cold part of the year. Also I will need some heavy bullets in .223 but I have no real idea what at this stage.

32-20 and 50-70 Starline brass.

6mm x 70 gn, 6.5mm x 140 gn, 7mm x 168 gn, .308" x 155gn, .311" x 174 gn SMKs

I usually buy in 500 rd boxes, obviously purchase is dependant on price.

I also use a lot of Hornady .224" x 45 gn, .227" x 70 gn, .224" x 60 gn, .243" x 87 gn, SP FB Varmint Bullets and 7mm x 154 gn, 7mm x 175 gn RN, .303" x 150 gn Interlock bullets. Usually buy a couple of hundred each per purchase. Live quarry bullets so don't use vast amounts, again purchase dependant on price.

Also interested in what you could do Barnes bullets for? Mainly 6mm at present.

Thanks again everyone.

I am building up quite a list of stuff now. As I said before, I'll most likely have to start with the common stuff and go on from there, but I will keep these notes.

We've currently got:

174gr 311s (Prvi)
243 Win (Winchester)
45 ACP (Starline)

Also coming very soon:

308 Win (once-fired, uniform headstamps - TBC)

So, a mixture of stuff but we're getting going.

Barnes bullets

The answer on this one is, once in full swing, I should be able to obtain pretty much any calibre you want in Barnes.
