Whoever is going to the training weekend and would like to know if there is another forum member going...

Post in here to let other members know you are going.
You know, moral support and all that.

Did that make sense?

:D

Thanks to Mik and all the people who helped out to make it a very relaxed, enjoyable and more importantly informative two days

I must say I've had a great weekend, any excuse to go down to Bisley is always welcome. I've met some great people with a very wide range of knowledge from beginner to the current World F-TR Champion, some guys from Holland and Spain had even made the trip.

Topics covered:

On the range actually shooting doing Range Etiquette, shooting in pairs doing score cards etc
Wind and Elevation plotting (takes a bit of explaining :D )
Rifle maintenance and how to correctly fit a scope
Reloading
Information about the UK F-class league and the Association

Cheers
Alan

Dates and finances were against me this year but I am going to go next year.

I guess the topics covered are transferable for all long range shooting and not just dedicated F Class?

Very easily, the plotting sheets are the same system used in Target Rifle, the reloading lecture was was Russ Simmons who's won a bit and was excellent. I am sure the etiquette works the same, only the scoring rings are very small compare to standard TR type target:lol: the V bull is 1/2 MOA ie 5 inches at 800/900/1000 yards and the Bull 5 is 10 inch.
