Some old revolvers and a couple of newer vintage handguns

Nice, I have a modern 1911 but have thought of getting some historic handguns. One of the guys at the club has a artillery luger and a mauser broom handle, but they can be expensive.
Re: Some old revolvers and a couple of newer vintage handgun
I have some more and will get around to taking some photos and getting them here for your viewing pleasure.
I had a stocked Broomhandle at one time. It was lovely to look at and a hoot to shoot with the shoulder stock but something seemed to go wrong with it every other trip to the range so I finally gave up on it and sold it off.
Yet to come if any is interested in seeing them:
Browning HP MkIII 9mm
Colt 1991 .45 ACP
Mauser Swiss pattern 1929 parabellum (1970s vintage)
Mauser HSc .380 (1970s issue)
SIG P6
SW 1006 10mm
Pair of Metropolitan Police Webley Mk4 .38s
Ruger Mk1 .22
Ruger Mk2 .22 target
Ruger Old Army
Ruger SSM Bisley .32HR magnum
Ruger Blackhawk .44
RIA 1911 .38 Super (new production)

Here's some more:
Consecutive serial number Mk4s shipped to New Scotland Yard in 1956. How they ended up in Van Nuys CA 30 years later is a mystery to me.
German police P6, single stack version of the U.S. military M11/SIG 228. My son carries the SIG 229 as his duty gun, very similar to the 228.
Mauser HSc 'one of five thousand' with the U.S. seal; marketed by Interarms in .380
S&W VWW2 Victory model in .38SW; same as supplied to Commonwealth forces in WW2. This one was issued post WW2 to the Austrian Police during the occupation by the U.S. government.
Austrian police marking and rack number
U.S. government property marking and inspector's stamp
Rock Island 1911 in .38 super. Great cartridge and a nice shooter with another barrel and magazine it is good for 9mm also.
S&W 1006 10mm. Very accurate and a hard-hitting cartridge. A gift from my father in 1998.
Colt 1991 .45 acp. Bought this used from a Russian emigre who had to pay the rent. Someone talented worked this 1911 over very nicely. It is supremely accurate and feeds any type of .45 round including semi wadcutter target ammunition.
More to follow, time to go on a walk with the missus!

Re: Some old revolvers and a couple of newer vintage handgun
Back for a few more:
Absolutely love this BHP. I removed the pesky magazine safety which really improved the trigger pull. I have a .22 kit that mounts to the frame to shoot low cost rimfire ammunition.
The sexiest handgun ever! This is the 70s Swiss pattern luger as done by Mauser and marketed in the U.S by Interarms. It is so sexy that a couple decades ago the Missus gave me a professional pinup photo of her with this pistol and not too much more.....no, you can't see the photo!
The nice holster that came with the piece
A good piece of kit!

Morning Rfrdr,
Thanks a lot for letting us see some of your collection.
I remember poring over the Gun adverts, like this one in the 1960s from Guns & Ammo magazine.
But I'm sure you are not old enough to have taken advantage of the seemingly bargain prices?

Re: Some old revolvers and a couple of newer vintage handgun
S&W model 28 .357 Highway Patrolman
S&W model 25-5 .45 Colt
Out in the desert with the Highway Patrolman. Sadly I sold this one.
Ruger SSM .32 HR magnum
Ruger Old Army .44 in the hands of one of my daughters
Chinese Norinco T54 Tokarev with the ammo, reloading stuff, and kit for .30 and .38 super. Sold this one for a tidy profit.
Looks like those are all of the pictures I have for now.
