#1 Post by Ovenpaa »

Finished in FDE Cerakote with some black detailing to set it off with some optional grubby finger marks I need to wipe off

Very nice :p

Modern rifles aren't my thing, but even my old man was impressed by the action and general build when you had one at Bisley a while back...would make an excellent McQueens rifle...

I do like that. Looks totally different than it did on the kitchen counter in bits!

I didn't think I was particularly "into" modern rifles either but that does look superb.

I like that David - what calibre is it?

That one as you see it is .308 and is for F/TR.

There is a second barrel with sound moderator for McQueen etc in 6.5x47.

I weighed the F/TR rig when it was at Bisley. I can't remember what the weight was but at the time I worked out that I could mount a IOR 12-52x Terminator on it and still be comfortably under weight.
Not that I can afford to but almost worth doing to see peoples faces and protests.

For anyone who has not handled this rifle or one of Ovenpaas fluted barrels, they are a joy to behold. Everyone runs a finger along the flutes then smile at not getting their fingers cut.

DM

Should anyone wish to "sponsor" me a Terminator I will gladly let everyone look through it etc.

Sadly the one thing that has not been sourced is the 'MADE IN ENGLAND' sticker.

DM, weight of this one with the 32" heavy fluted barrel is 7,100 grams so lots of room for a bipod.

It also gave me a chance to try out one of our freshly lasered scope alignment systems
