I was thinking that I had found a double cavity mould but I can see now that it is wrong. I'm suitably red faced!
I have borrowed a couple of moulds..the ones I used last week came from an unnamed mould that produced 585 grain bullets.
I am currently casting some for this weekend with a mould number PH 58560 that I am told came with the Parker Hale 2 band when it was new..it is casting bullets at 560 grains.
I am open to recommendations where moulds are concerned..is there a mould on the Accurate Molds website that is suitable? There is a lot of choice there!
My minie of choice is the RCBS, but have had good luck with the thin skirted Lymans too.
The Lees can be worth a punt as I have found their single cavity HB moulds to work quiet well, just be aware that the Modern Minie "Ash can" mould works well out to 100 yrds or so but drops off accuracy wise after than.
Accurate do not do HB or HP moulds although they will cut you plug cavities for you to have your own plugs made.
I shoot Pritchets in my Enfields now but the cartridges need to be made beforehand and they like base plugs, best to start with a Minie mould and get it shooting good. A bit more instant than Pritchets which can be a labour of love.
I'd be tempted to get a mould that casts the same bullet that did so well for you on last weeks target.
