Well!
I have never really been a fan of BP - but today I squeezed off 5 rounds with a really sweet Enfield in 0577/450 - managed a 5 round group of just over 2 inches @ 100 yds :P
I really did enjoy shooting it too - even the clouds of toilet paper? made me smile!

well done, do you know what the loading was?
Re: Enfield Martini Henry 0.577/450
I don't - I should have paid more attention but was grinning too much - there was a lot of "confetti" going down the range!AL8 wrote:well done, do you know what the loading was?
I was more pleased as a couple of the others struggled to get it on the target

MHs are a blast. I disagree with the notion that they kick like mules.
... they kick like cart horses, Shires, in fact.

First time I took my MkIV 577/450 to the range and opened up on the rifle line with a cloud of white smoke the range master sauntered over and asked to see my Environmental Protection Agency hazmat permit! I think he was joking....I bought him off with a loaded round for his collection!
