Looking at that, it strongly resembles one of the Turkish models. The blurb states "built" in the USA. I reckon it's imported, then assembled.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

What is a Sapper? This versatile genius condenses the whole system of military engineering and all that is useful and practical. He is a man of all work of the Army and the public ready to do anything or go anywhere, in short, he is a Sapper.

Apart from the stock, it looks dead like a Hatsan, especially with that short stroke racking system...

Yip - looks very Hatsan - but a little strange that it has a "rifle style" front sight yet no rearsight/ghost-ring!!

Saddler, Hatsan DO make one like that. I have a Hatsan (I think it's the older model Aim Guard) which had exactly that sight set up. I removed it and fitted a ghost ring rear and a compatible blade front.
