"Felix Sarasketa" y CIA, 12g O/U

#1 Post by Cluain Cartha »

Dear all

I have just purchased off my 1st cousin, (I may ad for little money)
A “Felix Sarasketa” Y CIA, 12g O/U fixed choke, with 28” barrels & stamped 12-70 beside the serial No:

The gun is immaculate for its age; even the RFD was impressed with its condition! This gun is in Northern Ireland & my cousin has not used it in years & does not shoot anymore.

The gun is a great fit for me, a lovely weight & I bought it specifically for “Rough” shooting over there, which I do regularly & as a "Back up gun". The main questions I have are, has any one any knowledge on this particular gun, has any one ever used/had one of these guns (If so what are your thoughts) are parts readily available (I know its Spanish made, as I have tried to research it & its maker) are they reliable, etc, etc.

Any information/advice gratefully appreciated, (As still new to this great sport but as keen as when I 1st started last May)

A quick google suggests they were made by more than one company, Felix being one of them. Any idea how old the Shotgun is?
