Time for some tweaking then Mike and some more practice, I always look on a first competition as sacrificial and a final test for the next one.

Hope next time is better for you.

I have had a couple of reports from the Diggle shooters and it sounds to be going well.

Winchester is off to the menders as we say up here. More 22 practice this week.

The range we were at today is just north of Donald Trumps golf complex. Aberdeen are worried he'll force them off as there are 1000 holiday homes planned nearby!

1st CoF, my Carbine had feed problems on each stage. Dropped about 10 shots.

2nd CoF, I used an identical Winchester with my ammo and it worked fine. So it is a rifle issue.

The 22 comp was oot, the black gun worked well but much more practice is required on the new small DP targets. At least Tue weather and my sarnies were nice.
Mike,
Bad luck. I've got the 22nd of May marked in my diary. I could be writing the same thing that evening!

The new targets are a nightmare, especially with open sights. But that is half the fun I guess.

We can have a moan on the 22nd.!

Have you pictures of the targets? I'll be using irons, so preview would be handy! :D

Cheers Mike. I just had a look at the CoF and I'll need to rustle up (or convert) some extra magazines for the Destroyer. At least I have a load that's accurate, wheather I am is another question!

What's this "we" Mike?.. Just kidding!

I think a few practice sessions on the new target wouldn't go amiss though; everyone seemed to be struggling a bit. I scraped together a clean in the first COF but the X count was too low to be worrying anyone!
