Thanks Trident for the ID , this will be waiting now till I find some spare time hopefully before November when I intend to use it for a club competition .

I would go along with Trident on this, I have had a couple of Musgraves over the years and this stock appears the same.

Sorry, don't know what the wood is, but it looks the same as many TR stocks from the 70s/80s.
Yes, I shoot mostly TR, but also smallbore and gallery, and I used to shoot pistol.
