Can you ID this stock ?

Hi
Can any one ID the maker of this stock ? I bought it on ebay for a project it was listed as a full bore stock , to me it looks like an Anschutz stock , same accessorie rail , same adjustable butt pad , and similar style to smallbore stocks I have seen . Its got a good bit of weight to it , but I think its made of beech due to the cresent shaped marks in the grain , which isnt bad to look at .
Its for a single shot rifle , the barrel groove is 1 1/8" .
Thanks for any ideas .

i would agree, it looks like an Anschutz fullbore stock, but that's a best guess rather than dead cert ;)

It could be Anschutz so I agree with that but I am not convinced about it being Beech as going by the pictures the grain looks a bit wide. A very nice looking stock and design though. What is the project going to be?

HI

I have a BRNO model 4 TR with a single shot adapter fitted so it can use a mag as well , same action as the CZ 452 , but with the TR stock there is no access to the mag well , the stock is OK but not my favorite so I thought I would have a go at converting this one .

I have recently put the CZ into an Anschutz stock for use in standing unsupported ,

Almost certainly not beech - it lacks those little flecks that beech always has.

The stock is for a Musgrave - bedded for a flat bottomed action and 3 bedding screws.
