It might be useful if the MOD still certifies ranges.

I will have a read a bit later. I still have a dream of winning the lottery (Which we do not do) and buying a plot of land in the boonies, pop a modest 2 bedroom cottage on it and add a 100m 3 lane underground range with electronic targetry with ample storage room and a coffee machine. :goodjob:

Hi Mike

One question that strikes me is if you dont own the land which is effectively your safety fallout zone how can you gaurantee that there wont be any one on it ?
A tunnel of concrete sewage pipes at the firing point is a good safety device to reduce your angle of fire , if you line it with sound absorbing material this will help in keeping your activities more sociable to the surrounding area ,

Oh you'll need permission from we Badgers before you build anything underground. That's our domain. You'll need to provide us with access, our own firing point, free worms and personalised mugs for the coffee.

Looked at the dig a basement option! - ive posted about that before in the man cave thread.

All sorted - open ticket for all my rifles - I can zero them at home if I so wish ;) (oh and he suggested a sound mod variation for my .308 just in case!)

My T8 mod fits both my 308win and my 223rem.

Helps if they both have the same thread.

We think it can be taken for granted that there will be nuts...

The apples can be dangerous. They can ferment and give us terrible hangfires*...
