Had a call yesterday! My new westlake armscor is ready for me! I'm just waiting on some bullets being made for me and it will be winging its way to my Rfd ;)

I will be interested to hear how you get on with it, have you gone for the standard or match grade barrel?

Pics will be up as soon as I get her! I went for the standard initailly as I can have her customised when I've regained some pistol shooting skill! I'm looking into having it ceracoated or refinished as the factory finish ain't the best.

I'm waiting on the 1000 bullets to be cast for me then it will be with me. I'm like an excited school boy!! ;)

I'm looking into casting my own bullets how easy is it and where do you get lead from?

Does anyone on here cast their own bullets? How easy is it?

You need to speak to Dromia or Dodgyroj... They're bound to be along soon.

If Rodger can do it then it can't be difficult.

Do a google search for "cast boolits bullets Full-Bore UK" the subject has been covered extensively many times on here.

Best to do some research and then come back with specific questions.

I would recommend the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook 4th edition. Also any of Fryxell's writings, see the library for links, are very informative.

Before you do anything with cast bullets slug your bore, see the library for how to on various methods, I recommend the impact slug method.
