The AR Cleaning Rod Guide
The AR Cleaning Rod Guide
We have been talking about building a range of Cleaning Rod Guides for AR platforms for a while now and with more and more people looking at alternative chamberings as well as the standard .224/5,56×45 NATO now seemed like a good time so here is an early offering. Machined from 6082 T6 the guide has a Nitrile O ring on the nose section to prevent bleed back of cleaning fluid plus a second Nitrile O ring in the rear section to ensure a snug and secure fit.
This one is built for the .223 Remington and the guides are available in all of the common chamberings including .300 Blackout and .300 Whisper through the 6,5/6,8mm options right on to the .50 Beowulf so something to suit everyone’s needs. In fact if you have an AR platform rifle one of our guides is going to fit and more importantly it is going to fit correctly.
Most importantly regardless of whatever variant you opt for it will have been made by me, here in the UK, carry the usual Shooting SHED label and be guaranteed for its life.
I suppose the next thing I really should conquer is that elusive design for the Rimfire actions that I am actually happy about…

Re: The AR Cleaning Rod Guide
I am fairly certain I can build a cleaning rod guide to fit any centre fire rifle on this planet.

Re: The AR Cleaning Rod Guide
I don't clean my AR's often...but I want one! They're so shiny!
Re: The AR Cleaning Rod Guide
I can do them in pre-distressed if needed!
Re: The AR Cleaning Rod Guide
Would love one for my 223 Wylde chambered AR....can you advise pricing?
Would also be first in line for a decent RF guide!

Re: The AR Cleaning Rod Guide
The Viking will be able to advise on the pricing structure and hopefully will update this thread in the morning and add them to the web shop. One day I will complete a rimfire guide that I am truly happy with, can put my name to and am prepared to ship, right now I am just not quite there.

Re: The AR Cleaning Rod Guide
Colour me interested. Any plans for an LR-308/SR-25/DPMS version?
