Strath at Cawdor

#1 Post by Andy632 »

Today was the Strathpeffer' Club's first practice day of the year at Cawdor range; a chance to get those spiders out of the barrels after the winter break and try out all those Christmas presents and winter fettling jobs.
Despite it being a typical Scottish Spring Day (with all 4 seasons in the one day) there was a good turnout & everyone enjoyed themselves Between rain & hail showers.

We started off at the 200/100 yard point and moved back eventually to the 500 yard point.

Hopefully Sandgroper or DW58 have some photos they can share when they log on.

Here's hoping that the rest of the season's shoots are as well attended.

Big thank you to our RCOs and all the guys that turned up.

Andy

Ah Mr Badger, but that is a very clever bit of 'Ooman kit. That 'Ooman is my No.1 cub, he's pretty good with his boomstick.

Nah, much lighter and very clever. You could speed test your fleas with it.

It spoils the lines of what looks to be a very nice rifle...

Well Mr Mustelid, it is only a temporary attachment as you well know. Strathpeffer RPC has its own provider of really fugly firearms.

kukkuk You're confusing me with another member...I knew which target I was aiming at - I just couldn't hit it!

BTW I now know the reason and it was my own stupid fault. wallhead
