I can only watch it without sound at the moment but he has a touch of Charlie Chaplin about him. Did you notice the advert for WKD? Seems he has.

I think it is an old clip but well worth watching. Bad news is he has probably been reported for poor policing by now, personally I think he was doing a lovely job :D

Absolutely agree. Haven't been to the island since 1987 but seeing this has made me want to go back! Perhaps it's time to dig the old Triumph out of the shed...

Just got back from TT week - brilliant as always!

The coppers are good sports on the whole - they put up with a lot and must get tired of scraping bikers off the tarmac.

The best police service in the world, IOM police. Every time I have been there, they have always been so helpful. The UK police could learn a lot. Thanks for the clip.

Has the ferry improved over the last few years?

Should bl**dy hope so, that was one of the reasons I stopped going - when the bloke loading the bikes slammed mine broadside into the BMW next to it...

I have only travelled over by van with a bike in the back and 100 gallons of high octane fuel hidden as best we could from the customs people. Even then the bikes coming on with other people were just pushed as far together as possible.

Worst ever was the ferry back from Santander to Plymouth, how the bike survived is beyond me.
