Range closers because of Covid-19

#1 Post by bnz41 »

Seems like our shooting may be affected by this virus, we had booked to shoot this Sunday 22/3/2020 at the Heritage pistol shoot at Bisley. I sent in a email to confirm we would like to attend, reply came back they had decided to cancel this, although other ranges were open.
Anyone else having shoots cancelled.

Luckily we are key holders to al three of the clubs we are members of so we can shoot virtually any time within reason, so avoiding the masses if needed.

Cancelled at Hythe on Saturday and my indoor club has closed till at least the end of April.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

We have closed our indoor club until further notice. I have cancelled our Full Bore MOD ranges. Landmarc have informed me that most of the Clubs are canceling and some of the military units as well.

My club has remained open but has suspended all competition shoots. NSRA / Lord Roberts Centre has closed for the foreseeable future...
